YouTube's algorithm prioritizes trending recommendations, often burying the latest videos from your subscribed channels. While the sidebar Subscriptions tab and email notifications help, RSS feeds offer a more reliable, customizable solution backed by years of proven use among power users.
RSS readers like Feedly provide powerful organization tools to track new videos from your favorite channels effortlessly. Adding YouTube feeds is simple and effective.
1. Use the Feedly search box. Type the YouTube channel name into Feedly's search. Follow the channel that appears in the results.

2. Import the YouTube OPML file into Feedly. YouTube offers an OPML file for all subscribed channels. Go to your YouTube account's Subscription Manager page and click the Export Subscriptions button to download it.

3. Use individual feed channels. YouTube channels lack a direct feed button, but create your own by copying the channel ID from the URL and appending it to this format:
https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?user=CHANNELIDThe CHANNELID is the string after “/user/” in the URL—it could be a number or channel name.
Recommendations still serve a purpose, shaped by your watch history to help discover new channels. You can also fine-tune your YouTube recommendations anytime.
