Reliable leaker HIITSCAN recently detailed upcoming changes for Yoru, the duelist struggling with just an 8.9% pick rate among pros in tournaments—despite his self-sufficient flashes and teleportation.

Post-launch nerfs sidelined Yoru, but Riot is addressing this. As they stated: "We've learned that in addition to our Duelists needing to offer something unique on the pitch, they also need to have a solid base value that any team at any turn can rely on in order to maintain strong viability on any team composition."

Key changes include:

  • Blindside (flash): No changes.

Gatecrash

  • Reduced range for enemies to see and hear the tether throw.
  • 20% faster movement speed.
  • Now triggers fake teleports on door collision tethers.
  • Added visual puddle effect for fake teleports.
