As one of the least-picked duelists—with just an 8.9% pick rate among pros despite his teleportation and self-flashing abilities—Yoru has struggled post-launch nerfs. Riot aims to restore his viability.
"You're all adapting in new and amazing ways and that's what evolves Valorant. Since Patch 3.0, we know the Age of Balance has been lighter than our previous episodes, and starting in 2022 we are looking to change that," the developers stated.
