How to Check for Unauthorized Access on Your Netflix Account

Sharing your Netflix password is common—our recent survey found nearly half of users do it. But what if that access has spread beyond your friends, or a stranger cracked it? Here's how to see who's logging in and secure your account.

Netflix tracks every device accessing your account, including recent IP addresses, locations, and timestamps. Follow these steps to review them:

  1. Sign in to Netflix in a browser.
  2. In the top right, click your name.
  3. Click on your account.
  4. Under My Profile, click View Activity.
  5. At the top, click View recent account access.
