About a year and a half after the release of the first part of the adventures of the mercenary on Netflix, the famous actor made the news official during the TUDUM event, organized this Saturday, September 25 by the streaming platform. Something to reassure fans, who were wondering if the hero had survived the events that occurred at the end of the first film...
This trailer of just under two minutes begins with the final scene of the first part, in which Tyler Rake is mortally wounded in the throat after being shot. At least, that's what we believe:in this teaser, we learn that the hero miraculously survived, as you can see below.
After falling from the top of a bridge into the Dhaka River, the mercenary appears at the bottom of the water, when his eyes open and he returns to the surface. This second part will be like its predecessor directed by Sam Hargrave and written by Joe Russo. The feature film is produced by Joe and Anthony Russo, notably behind Avengers Endgame .
Netflix will therefore continue to bet on the story of Tyler Rake, who achieved one of the best launches for an original film on the platform, with 99 million views in the first four weeks of its release. And it is even rumored that the Russo brothers would like to create an extended cinematic universe dedicated to the hero...
