Spotify excels at personalized recommendations based on your listening habits. Let's dive in.
One underrated gem is the 'Create similar playlist' option in your playlist sidebar. Right-click any playlist for familiar actions like making it public, downloading for offline use, or sharing. Look for Create similar playlist—it generates a fresh collection of tracks in the same vein.
Perfect for exploring new genres or refreshing an old favorite. It bases suggestions on your existing playlists without altering them, and you can chain this for deeper dives.

This builds stronger playlists while surfacing potential new favorites.
AdvertisementAutoplay seamlessly extends your session with similar tracks after a song, album, or playlist ends—essentially launching a personalized radio.
On desktop: Go to Edit > Preferences, find Autoplay, and enable Autoplay similar songs when no more music remains.

On mobile: Tap Home, gear icon > Playback > enable Autoplay.

Disable Repeat, let content end, and enjoy the flow.
Spotify's social side shines in the Friends Activity panel (View > Show Friends Activity; needs wide window).
Track what friends (via Facebook) or followed users are enjoying. Click Find Friends to connect more. Note the album/playlist source for quick jumps.

Diverse tastes spark unexpected gems.
Head to Browse > Discover for tailored picks like weekly Discover Weekly (Mondays) and Release Radar (Fridays). Save favorites before they update.

Expect spot-on suggestions from your history: new releases, similar artists, and more.
Skip waiting—right-click an artist/album/song/playlist, select Go to [Item] Radio for endless similar tunes.
Or browse Radio tab for stations.
