Nick "nitr0" Cannella has been a cornerstone of 100 Thieves' Valorant roster since nearly its inception. However, following recent underwhelming results, the veteran is reportedly considering a return to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO).
Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella (born August 16, 1995) is an accomplished American esports athlete currently competing for 100 Thieves in Valorant. He rose to prominence as a professional CS:GO player, particularly during his standout tenure with Team Liquid.

nitr0 joined 100 Thieves' Valorant squad on August 14, 2020, serving as an in-game leader (IGL) and key contributor. The team kicked off strong by winning First Strike North America. Yet, their form quickly declined, dropping from regional frontrunners to mid-tier contenders, typically finishing 3rd-4th in North America.
Their VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2021 campaign began poorly with a 5th-6th place finish at Stage 1 Masters. The addition of Ethan "Ethan" Arnold provided a brief spark, but sustained success eluded them.

Despite early promise, 100 Thieves failed to qualify for Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2 Masters—the first international LAN event. They did reach Stage 3 Masters in Berlin but fell to Team Envy, securing 3rd-4th place.
Post-Berlin, they replaced steel with b0i, but exited the North America Last Chance Qualifier after a loss to Cloud9 Blue, ending their 2021 season without further international contention.
Industry sources indicate nitr0 is fielding multiple CS:GO offers, including a possible reunion with former team Team Liquid—a move that aligns with his proven track record there.

Should nitr0 depart, 100 Thieves may pivot to building around Spencer "Hiko" Martin, Ethan Arnold, and Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk.
