How to Easily Reorder Apps on Your Android TV Home Screen

  1. Turn on your device and wait until the home screen appears.
  2. Scroll down and select Settings.
  3. Go to Preferences.
  4. Choose Home screen.
  5. Select Apps and games rows.
  6. Choose either Reorder apps in row or Reorder games row.
  7. It will return to the corresponding row with the background dimmed.
  8. Use your remote: the Select button selects or deselects an app, while directional buttons move the selected app left or right.

Alternatively, go to Settings > Preferences > Home screen > Apps & games rows and toggle the switch next to Auto-sort by recent use.
