Riot's Executive Producer Anna Donlon recently shared details on Episode 4 Act 2 changes. While some may feel shortchanged, these updates prioritize long-term player satisfaction.
No new agent or map this act, but expect meaningful tweaks to agent balance, maps, player behavior, and ranked play—solidifying Valorant's strong foundation.
"Dreams like ours…should be built on a super strong foundation. And this will be the general theme of Act II. Strengthen this foundation. We will dedicate this act to the overall health of our game," Donlon explained. Updates target balance issues, like restoring Duelist Yoru after recent nerfs, alongside the first-ever Community Battlepass.

Expect deeper dev-player engagement through frequent discussions and potential AMAs for faster improvements. "There are some really exciting new features on the horizon, like our very own Team Tournament System," she added.
Addressing smurf complaints head-on, Riot is tackling these issues to elevate the competitive scene and overall experience.
