After a well-deserved two-week extension, Riot is delivering Patch 3.04 with Episode 3 Act 2. While official details are limited, the community eagerly awaits a new map and agent—building on the previous act's new map, agent, and two skin lines.
The community has voiced concerns over content droughts, prompting Riot to respond: “We want to build stronger muscle to produce large intermediate content and regular small drops sustainably. As we grow, expect a smoother flow of big, medium, and small updates.”
As of August 16, 2021, Patch 3.04 notes are pending, following 3.03 on August 10. Reliable leaker Mike uncovered source code hinting at a new agent, 'Sprinter,' for Act 2. We could see two agents and the 'Canyon' map arrive soon.
Episode 3 Act 1 ends September 8, 2021, so Act 2 launches on or after that date—not long to wait for the surprises.
