Weapon skins in Valorant customize pistols, SMGs, rifles, shotguns, snipers, and heavies, enhancing the tactical shooter experience. Available via the in-game store with Valorant Points or Radianite Points, premium bundles like the Vandal's Anime collections deliver standout visuals worth the investment.

In their blog, Riot's team detailed the design journey for these skins. A weapons artist noted reusing an FX texture for consistency and efficiency in custom materials. Chris Stone, from Valorant's premium content team, explained: "Sentinels of Light was Riot's major summer event, extending 'Ruined' and 'Sentinel' themes across games. Though Valorant differs from League of Legends, it was exciting to infuse Runeterra's invading Black Mist into our weapons."

For Ruination skins, Stone collaborated with the FX artist on Black Mist's signature shapes—one texture even made it into the final skin. Sentinels of Light emphasized the Relic Stone, symbolizing resistance against Ruination in the League universe. Meanwhile, K/TAC skins build on emerging tech from Ruination, maximizing its potential—a closer look reveals their depth.
