The tournament spans 4 seasons, each divided into 4 stages. Teams start in Open Qualifiers, with registration available on the official TEC website. Up to 256 teams can participate, but only the top 16 advance. The top 4 teams earn automatic spots in the next season's Open Qualifiers.
