Fresh off last month's Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2 Masters in Reykjavík, Iceland—the first major LAN since launch—this event expands to 16 teams from just 10 previously. Riot's Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) is the premier year-long global circuit, spanning Challengers, Masters, and Champions stages. NA Challengers Stage 3 is underway, feeding into the international VCT Stage 3 Masters in Berlin, Germany, this September. Unlike Reykjavík, Berlin features 16 top teams from North America, EMEA, Brazil, Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
The eight EMEA slots are locked in. The tournament runs September 9 to 19 at Berlin's Verti Music Hall—a venue Riot knows well from past League of Legends Worlds. This caps VCT Stage 3, with the winner earning a direct invite to Valorant Champions 2021 (November 29 to December 12).
