The inaugural PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) South Asia & MENA Championship kicks off on November 9, 2021. This season marks a significant shift, with Middle East and North Africa (MENA) teams now competing alongside South Asian squads, separate from European contenders.
Teams from the Middle East, North Africa, Taiwan, and South Asia will battle over six days for a $200,000 prize pool. Following the format of top regional leagues, the event features a league stage followed by finals. The top four teams earn spots in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2021, starting November 30.

Twenty elite teams will compete: 19 qualified through regional leagues, and one direct invitee. Here's the full lineup:

The 20 teams are divided into five groups for the league stage (November 9-12), played in a round-robin format. The top 16 advance to finals on November 13-14.

The top four finishers qualify for PMGC 2021. Note: If Nigma Galaxy or DRS Gaming claim top spots, those PMGC slots pass to the next eligible teams. Future Station Esports was disqualified for anti-cheat violations; their slot goes to Ruthless Aggressive Warriors.
