PUBG Mobile is rolling out strict age restriction rules for players under 18, including daily playtime limits and supervised spending. This comes as Battlegrounds Mobile India—PUBG Mobile's rebranded version for the Indian market—launches its official rules and privacy policy on a new website, signaling an imminent release.
Recent updates on the official site include fresh creative assets and a teaser trailer, building excitement for the launch. With terms of service now public, the game could drop anytime soon.
Here's a breakdown of the key restrictions for underage players.

Under-18 players will see a startup warning and periodic pop-up reminders to take breaks. The new Battlegrounds Mobile India site, which replaced the old PUBG Mobile India page, details these alongside the privacy policy and terms of service.

Daily playtime is capped at 3 hours, with pop-up notifications enforcing breaks and access restrictions until the next day. Players must also provide a parent or guardian's mobile number for age verification.

In-game spending for under-18s is limited to INR 7,000. The privacy policy states: "If you are under the age of 18, you will be asked to provide your parent or guardian's mobile phone number to confirm that you are legally entitled to play the game. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 18 has provided us with personal information without your consent, you may contact us and request that your child's information be deleted from our system."

These measures address concerns over gaming's impact on youth, promoting balanced play and healthy habits. Battlegrounds Mobile India is set to be India's premier PUBG Mobile experience—teaser out now, launch coming soon.
