The PUBG Mobile team has shared multiple teasers and patch notes for version 1.6. The official release date was announced on the PUBG Mobile Discord server:

"Prepare yourselves, it is almost time for the resistance! Our version 1.6 update will be released on 14 September 2021 05:30. The Yarilo will be landing in Erangel shortly."

Alongside the update, expect Cycle 1 Season 2 and RPM3 (Royal Pass Month 3), themed around food-inspired outfits per reliable leaks. Regional rollout times include:

  • Indonesia: 7:00 WIB (UTC +7:00)
  • Brazil: September 13 at 9 p.m. BRT (UTC -3:00)
  • Europe: 02:00 CEST (UTC +3:00)
  • North America: September 13 at 8:00 p.m. EDT (UTC -4:00)

Update 1.6 will also launch in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), with C1S2 expected to kick off around September 17, 2021.
