Jonathon 'Yung Calculator' Weber, better known as BBG Calc, is a professional Fortnite player and streamer with a track record of provocative Twitter posts. This time, he drew ire after responding to teammate Reducss's announcement about his pet dog's passing—a loss that would sideline him from FNCS qualifying heats he'd prepared for.
BBG Calc shot back that it wasn't a valid reason to skip a major tournament. His replies quickly filled with fans slamming the comment as tone-deaf and lacking empathy.
A few hours later, he tweeted about needing therapy amid the uproar. One notable reply doubled down: "he overreacts if my dog dies I'm not crying I'm just yeah this is bad and shi bit I'm just like f**k it and move on at the end of the day this is just a dog and you have to move on and live in the future and the present and not the past and he should play the game and use that as motivation."

Jack 'CouRage' Dunlop, co-owner of 100 Thieves, weighed in critically: "I've blocked Calc for years at this point. I know he's young, but he has some of the worst tweets of any gaming community I've seen. That's a shame. He is obviously very talented. When he's old, he'll remember life and regret that angry tweets and a shitty sense of humor kept him from making much more money and being part of better organizations."
