Riding the Next World:WoW Shadowlands Death Knight Talents Guide

The death knight has been one of the most capable classes in World of Warcraft since its release, and it continues in Shadowlands. In fact, the class is more relevant than ever in terms of lore in the set. On top of that, he received upgrades to his talents, as well as some new ones. So buy WoW Mounts for sale – you'll ride and not die.

Unholy Death Knight Talents

For the death knight, the two best specializations are Blood Knight and Unholy. The former is the closest thing the game has to the summoner/necromancer archetype, while the latter is the tank. If you buy WoW Gold, you can try both.

For now, however, we'll start with the Unholy Death Knight, whose talents are as follows:

  • Level 15:All Will Serve – this increases your damage output, as it allows you to add another Skeletal Ghoul to your small army. The other level 15 talents don't give as much of a damage boost as All Will Serve, so it's recommended that those going for this spec get this one first.
  • Level 25:Unholy Blight – further increases the DPS of the spec. Or rather, much further, as it gives a debuff that stacks and deals a lot of damage over time. Weakened enemies also take bonus damage from minions, making it synergistic with All Will Serve.
  • Level 30:Asphyxiate – is a great utility tool. This 4 second stun can be used in all sorts of ways, especially for crowd control or to temporarily eliminate an enemy while healing another.
  • Level 35:Soul Reaper – increases your damage whenever you hit an enemy whose current HP is at 35% or less.
  • Level 40:Wraith Walk – gives the death knight mobility, making it a must-have, as the class isn't exactly known for repositioning easily.
  • Level 45 – Unholy Pact – further increases the damage dealt by your minions, as it grants a Dark Transformation buff. It gives a 5% strength bonus and grants additional Shadow damage to minions when attacking. With bonuses like this, getting Unholy Pact is practically a no-brainer.

Blood Knight Talents

As for the Blood Knight, the choice of talent can get a bit tricky, as the PVP and PVE branches of the build diverge on certain F95 Zone choices. Both, however, will share the same talents, which are as follows:

  • Level 15:Bloodthirster – this gives the death knight the chance to regain some health for a few seconds. Although it is a channeling skill, it is not interrupted during movement or when performing certain actions.
  • Level 25:Haemostasis – because the Blood Knight's primary means of healing is the Death Strike, Haemostasis is a must-have as it enhances this ability, as it increases his damage and healing bonus up to at 40%.
  • Level 35:Will of the Necropolis – a great utility and survivability talent, this prevents you from being killed if your health drops below 30%, as it reduces flat damage by 30, giving you the ability to recover and revert.
  • Level 50:Red Thirst – this talent reduces the cooldown of the Vampiric Blood ability, which increases maximum health by 15% and increases the effectiveness of healing spells for 10 seconds. This allows the skill to be used more often, greatly improving the Deaht Knight's survivability.

Between PVE and PVP

When it comes to PVE, you'll go for these two:Relish in Blood at level 30, Grip of the Dead at level 40, and Bloodworms at level 45. The former gives an additional source of Runic Power, as well as some healing. of Death and Decadence. As for Grip of the Dead, it gives Death and Decay a slow effect bonus. Finally, Bloodworms greatly improve the death knight's survivability and damage potential and can heal users' entire health.

On the other hand, for the PVP build, it's the following:Blood Tap at level 30, Wraith Walk at level 40, and Voracious at level 45. Blood Tap is a quick and easy way to generate a Rune. As for Wraith Walk, like what was said before, it's one of the few Death Knight talents that improves mobility. Since this is PVP, it's important to be able to move around, lest you get helplessly killed. Finally, Voracious grants more Death Strike healing, allowing you to stay in the fight longer.

The death knight shouldn't be your death. Instead, it should be that of your enemies and the assured survival of your allies. With these talent tips, your death knight will be able to provide all of that – and more.
