100 Thieves' New VALORANT Roster Drops 0-3 to Luminosity in VCT NA Challengers Debut

The 100 Thieves VALORANT roster's struggles persist in VCT NA Challengers One, coming off a 13-0 defeat to The Guard last week and recent roster tweaks. Their overtime loss to Luminosity has further dimmed playoff hopes.

Following a dominant 13-0 run to the grand final of the Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet in February—before a narrow defeat to TSM—the refreshed 100T squad entered this matchup with high expectations.

That hype fizzled on Split, 100T's favored map. They trailed 8-4 at halftime after a sluggish attacking start, despite a late rally. Luminosity closed it out 13-9, powered by TiGG and Mada's standout performances—each topping 20 kills with a +10 K/D.

100 Thieves' New VALORANT Roster Journey So Far

On Fracture, 100T rebounded from an early deficit with stout defense to lead 7-5 at the break. Bang exploded for 27 kills on Breach, his best map since joining, while Ethan and jcStani's clutch plays secured a 13-9 win and forced a decider.

Switching to Breeze, Hiko's Viper locked in 10 kills early, including key clutches, for a 15-kill halftime on defense. Luminosity tied it 6-6 with sharp site executes and post-plants before the swap.

The sides traded blows to an 11-11 deadlock. LG edged ahead via moose and TiGG's 2v2 post-plant hold, but Bang's entries forced overtime. In OT, Bdog's solo 2v3 plant denial couldn't stem the tide as LG sealed the 0-3 sweep.

Playoffs remain possible for 100T, but they'll need wins over XSET and Evil Geniuses—plus an XSET slip-up against Luminosity, now at 2-1.
