PUBG PC Urban Map 'Kiki': Leaked Release Date and Key Features

Krafton recently announced that PUBG PC, the original PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, will go free-to-play starting January 2022. Leaks from trusted data miners, including IGN Player, also point to an exciting new urban map arriving on the PC version.

Since its 2017 launch, PUBG PC has captivated millions, inspiring mobile spin-offs and continuous updates to keep pace with the battle royale genre. Krafton has collaborated with stars like BLACKPINK and Don Lee while introducing fresh in-game content. Now, a new city-focused map is on the horizon.

Taego's innovations were a hit, and the Haven city map built on that success. Building on this, leaks reveal 'Kiki,' an 8x8 km urban map inspired by New Orleans, Louisiana—complete with submerged cities mirroring real-world flooding, cypress swamps, outdoor stages, and solar/wind farms.

Kiki introduces tactical gear like scout drones, assist healing, fast cover, and area shields—potentially debuting with the free-to-play shift in PUBG PC update 15.2. Expect a major overhaul then.
