If you're tuned into the Valorant competitive scene, you've likely heard of Rawkus. Now serving as coach for Sentinels, he's transitioned from player to strategist, bringing his competitive edge from Overwatch to Valorant.
Shane "Rawkus" Flaherty (born June 16, 1994) is an American esports veteran and coach currently leading Sentinels in Valorant. He's best known as a former Overwatch pro with stints on FaZe Clan and Houston Outlaws.
On July 17, 2016, Shane helped form Team Ohno with five fellow competitors bonded by mutual respect. A month later, he joined FaZe Clan from FCTFCTN, securing second place at Major League Gaming Vegas 2016 and Overwatch Contenders 2017: Season 1. On October 31, 2017, he and teammate SPREE moved to Houston Outlaws for the Overwatch League debut. FCTFCTN later joined them between Stages 1 and 2.

On August 5, 2020, Rawkus rejoined FaZe Clan for their aggressive Valorant roster, winning the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 3.

Stepping back from pro play, Rawkus embraced coaching. Sentinels, long without a dedicated coach, appointed him ahead of Valorant Champions Berlin. Despite topping Stage 2 Masters, they faltered at Stage 3 Masters Berlin—now Rawkus aims to reclaim their world-beating form.
