In a candid Sportskeeda Rapidfire interview, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) opener Devdutt Padikkal opted for PUBG Mobile sessions with teammate Yuzvendra Chahal over FIFA matches with captain Virat Kohli. PUBG Mobile's explosive popularity in India has made it a cultural phenomenon, transcending casual and competitive gaming—despite its suspension by the Indian government in September 2020.
Yuzvendra Chahal is a standout in both cricket and gaming. Balancing international cricket with elite PUBG play, the leg-spinner has competed in 199 multiplayer matches, securing top-three finishes 129 times, earning 75 MVP awards, boasting 19.97% average accuracy, 3,098 kills, and a 2.77 K/D ratio. He even collaborated with gaming sensation Techno Gamerz (Ujjal Chaurasia) for a live stream, "Yuzi’s Extreme Challenge," on PUBG Mobile's official YouTube channel.

Virat Kohli, meanwhile, is renowned for his FIFA prowess on PlayStation, once teaming up with Cheteshwar Pujara, Karun Nair, and KL Rahul for sessions after a rained-out training at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Sportskeeda's exclusive Rapidfire episode spotlighted RCB's Devdutt Padikkal. When asked to choose between FIFA with Virat Kohli or PUBG Mobile with Yuzvendra Chahal, Padikkal revealed: "I've already played FIFA with Virat Kohli, so PUBG with Yuzvendra Chahal."
