Valorant players have discovered a new bug with Jett following Patch 3.08's release on October 19. This glitch extends weapon equip times after her Tailwind dash, sparking debate in the community. Riot Games has confirmed the issue but won't deploy a hotfix, opting to address it in Patch 3.09 instead.
Valorant Jett Nerf Context from Patch 3.06: No Knife Renewal
Jett remains one of Valorant's top duelists post her significant buffs, yet Riot has applied only minor nerfs compared to agents like Viper. This latest unintended bug acts like an accidental nerf, dividing players on whether it balances the agent effectively.

The bug increases weapon draw time after Tailwind from 1.18 seconds (Patch 3.07) to 1.42 seconds (Patch 3.08). Players also report a slower knife draw animation with Updraft, plus a higher ability cost, prompting questions on utility buys.

Riot acknowledges these don't compromise competitive integrity or game-breaking elements, so no immediate redeploy. Pro player Tyson 'TenZ' Ngo recently suggested making the slower equip time permanent for better balance. Stay tuned for Patch 3.09 updates on Jett's future.
