Valorant to Introduce Account Level Hiding in Episode 3 Act 2 to Reduce Toxicity

Riot Games is set to introduce an option for players to hide their account level from others, aiming to curb toxicity in the community. Introduced in Episode 3, account levels reflect the time invested in the game. This update addresses player feedback on toxicity linked to visible levels.

However, players reported heightened toxicity based on low or high account levels, often tied to rank disparities. Riot has responded by developing a feature to hide account levels. “We've seen account level feedback sometimes used as fuel being toxic to another player (whether it's their rank-to-level ratio, or something else). We hear you and are working on it right now (along with other minor account leveling improvements),” said Naoise Creaven, Valorant's lead producer. Expect this in Episode 3 Act 2.
