Fortnite:Save the World has received a new update which includes various new features including the addition of wolves and dinosaurs. This is just one of many improvements to the hugely popular Epic Games franchise, with the improved Spider-Man content in Fortnite's Battle Royale mode being a recent example.
Although the free-to-play Battle Royale mode is probably the best-known aspect of Fortnite, the game was originally designed as a co-op base defense and survival game. Players band together to defend a central region against hordes of zombies in this game mode, dubbed Save the World. This level debuted with the game's signature building element, which is crucial for keeping blind enemies at bay.
Despite the fact that Save the World isn't free to play like its Battle Royale counterpart (although that's one of the many privileges of Fortnite Crew membership), Epic is still paying attention to it with updates and content drops.
Several new tamable animal creatures have been introduced in the latest Save the World update. Epic Games has released an update that explains how these new NPCs work, indicating that they can become friendly allies after receiving a food gift. Several new animal types, such as wolves, boars, and raptors, have been added, each with its own set of attack types and abilities.
Raptors, for example, can inflict Affliction, a condition that deals damage to enemies over time. The Brawl of the Wild questline, which will eventually reward players with a new playable character, will be released alongside these animals.
This is a major update to Fortnite:Save the World. Although the Battle Royale section of the game features high-level crossovers, such as Aloy from Horizon Forbidden West, there are still players who prefer Save the World's more focused single-player and co-op action.
