As Part 2 of Season 5 drops this Friday, December 3, Money Heist fans are asking: Will La Casa de Papel return for a Season 6?
Fans of Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) have plenty to celebrate. On December 3, the second part of Season 5 arrives on Netflix, bringing back Tokyo, Rio, the Professor, and the world's most daring robbers. But will their story continue into a sixth season?
This Spanish powerhouse has been one of Netflix's biggest hits since launch, blending action, romance, and edge-of-your-seat suspense. While Season 5 drew some criticism for playing it safe with familiar tropes, viewers can't wait for Part 2—out now. Despite a South Korean remake in the works, will Money Heist get a Season 6?
The answer is no, according to creator Alex Pina. "We've shot over 2000 minutes of fiction around two heists. I think we've exhausted the emotional storylines of some characters. We've told a lot already and it's a good time to close. Isn't it always better to leave too early than too late?"
