Filming for American Horror Story Season 10 is underway, bringing fans back to Ryan Murphy's acclaimed horror anthology. Here's the latest on the release date, plot, teaser, and more for the series' milestone tenth installment.

With production in full swing on American Horror Story Season 10, excitement is building for Ryan Murphy's signature blend of terror and twists. The season's title, “Double Feature” (French: "double face"), was revealed early. Since the debut of "Murder House" a decade ago, the series has captivated audiences with its ever-evolving, standalone stories that keep fans guessing each season.
The tenth season was announced back in 2018 and marks a continuation, not the end—Ryan Murphy has confirmed the series for 13 seasons total. American Horror Story Season 10 is slated for summer 2021. FX Networks chairman John Landgraf shared that it will launch “in July, exclusively on FX and then the following day on Hulu,” the popular streaming service.

In addition to Season 10, Ryan Murphy revealed details on the spinoff American Horror Stories, premiering shortly before. This anthology will feature a new story each episode. While Season 10's exact schedule is pending, “Double Feature” comprises ten episodes airing weekly through Halloween 2021.
As with past seasons, American Horror Story features fresh narratives with select returning favorites. Emmy winner Jessica Lange has confirmed she won't return, stating in an interview, "I don't think I would want to start from scratch and create a character."

Ryan Murphy shared cast updates on Instagram, confirming Sarah Paulson—fresh off her Golden Globe win for Netflix's Ratched—is back, alongside Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, and Lily Rabe.
Iconic '90s actor Macaulay Culkin from Home Alone ("Mom, I Missed the Plane") joins the cast. In an E! interview, Murphy teased: "I talked to him about the character and told him he had a pretty crazy sex scene and erotic [moment] with Kathy Bates, among other things. He paused and said, ‘I think I was born for this role.’ So he accepted right away." Murphy often pitches roles in person without scripts.

Confirmed cast (subject to change):
No full trailer for American Horror Story Season 10 yet, but expect one soon. A March teaser from Ryan Murphy unveiled the title: Double Feature. This 35-second clip hints at two horror tales in one season: “one side sea, one side sand...". Stay tuned for more reveals. Rewatch prior seasons on streaming platforms in the meantime.
