In an era of canceled in-person events, Twitch is delivering top-tier entertainment straight to your screen. Partnering with the renowned hip-hop festival Rolling Loud, the platform will stream three exclusive virtual music festivals to keep fans connected.
Rolling Loud, a premier annual hip-hop festival since 2015, has rocked stages in U.S. cities like Miami, Oakland, and Los Angeles, plus international spots in Australia and Portugal. Headliners such as Future, J. Cole, and Travis Scott have defined its legacy, making it a must for hip-hop enthusiasts.
Originally slated for May 2020, the festival was postponed to February 2021 amid the coronavirus pandemic. To fill the void, Rolling Loud is bridging the gap through Twitch with live-streamed virtual events featuring star performances over five hours each.
The inaugural "Loud Stream" festival airs on Twitch September 12-13. While the full lineup is under wraps, expect major artists, with performers pausing sets to chat and engage virtual audiences, as shared by Rolling Loud co-founder Tariq Cherif.
Beyond the main festivals, Rolling Loud streams daily on its Twitch channel, offering fresh content each day. Mondays feature "Loud Gaming," pitting musicians against pro gamers, while Thursdays bring "The Leak" with tracks from emerging hip-hop talents.
This collaboration marks Twitch's growing footprint in music, following its exclusive gaming stream deal with rapper Logic. Beyond big names, Twitch empowers anyone to build a following and pursue streaming as a career.
