Global Esports was one of two Indian teams to qualify for Stage 1 of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Asia-Pacific Challengers Playoffs. Their run ended sooner than expected, leaving Velocity Gaming as India's last hope.
Global Esports' journey wrapped up quickly after losses in both upper and lower bracket matches. The squad has faced a challenging 2022 VCT season. As former VCC Champions, they faltered in VCC India #1 and #2 qualifiers but earned a spot in the VCC 2022 Grand Finals via Wildcard Qualifiers.
To gain an edge, they traveled to Singapore for practice against other Indian and Thai teams.
As VCC 2022 finalists, Global Esports faced Griffin E-Sports from Hong Kong in a BO3 series. Griffin proved superior, securing the win.
Dropped to the lower bracket, they battled Fancy United Esports from Vietnam in another thrilling BO3. Despite a strong showing, Fancy United won the first two maps, ending the series early.
Global Esports now heads back to India to regroup for the upcoming VCC.
