Dr Disrespect Blasts Call of Duty: Warzone – 'Xbox Won't Save This Dying Game'

Call of Duty: Warzone continues to face significant challenges across platforms, including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. Persistent cheaters and hackers mar the experience, while new content rolls out too slowly to reignite excitement.

Despite generating massive revenue, the game shows limited signs of meaningful investment. Renowned streamer Dr Disrespect, a former Twitch star, has publicly lost patience, calling the free-to-play title "dying."

Many gamers echo his sentiments and pin hopes on Microsoft's pending acquisition of Activision Blizzard to deliver real fixes. Dr Disrespect remains skeptical: "Microsoft is not going to save you."

"There is nothing... nothing! There are so many problems. No sound. This game sucks. Your game sucks! Microsoft will not save you. This will not be the case! Even the game engine is outdated! It's a wrap, really. The game is a wrap! Holy shit, it's done."

Dr Disrespect added that Call of Duty: Warzone now puts him to sleep:

"It's supposed to be this over-the-top hit arcade game that you can jump into, start playing, and have fun," the streamer continued. "It's a high reputation. I don't have that feeling. I fall asleep playing this game."

While Dr Disrespect's rhetoric often blends opinion with performance, widespread frustration is evident among players.

What could Xbox do to revive Warzone? Allocating more resources and deeper support from Raven Software might help, though funding has never been the core issue.
