Dubbed the New State Mobile Open Challenge, this event is exclusive to South Korean players and boasts a massive $250,000 prize pool.
Esports has exploded in popularity worldwide, with major tournaments drawing huge audiences and prize pots. Krafton has long teased a robust competitive scene for PUBG New State, and this announcement delivers on that promise.

The news broke via the game's official social media channels. Open to eligible South Korean players, registrations close on February 2. Only those holding Gold I rank or higher in Season 1 qualify. The tournament kicks off February 5 and will be live-streamed on the official PUBG New State YouTube channel starting February 15.
