Riot Games launched Valorant Patch 4.0 today, unveiling Neon, the latest agent. While the rollout faced challenges, several game modes—including Shooting Range and Custom Games—were temporarily disabled in key regions to resolve matchmaking queue issues.

Earlier this evening, Riot announced the disablement of Shooting Range and Custom Game modes in North America, Brazil, and Latin America. High player traffic into these modes was disrupting standard matchmaking queues. No timeline has been provided for their reactivation.

Patch 4.0 is now live worldwide, though initial complications arose. In affected regions, Neon was unlocked prematurely, prompting a brief disablement until resolved about two hours later.
Players can now unlock and play Neon seamlessly. The new agent's popularity likely drove traffic to Firing Range and Custom Games for practice before jumping into competitive matches.

These modes should return soon, but for now, players in these regions must focus on standard matchmaking.
