Cheat providers have enabled players to manipulate matches unfairly using illegal tools. In response, Krafton and Tencent filed suits in U.S. and German federal courts, both ruling in their favor and imposing the $10 million fine.
Krafton plans to reinvest the funds into advanced anti-cheat technologies to eradicate hackers entirely. The court also mandated the group to disclose exploitation methods.
Tencent producer Rick Li stated, “Millions of gamers around the world are enjoying PUBG Mobile and we will ensure a level playing field for everyone. Unfortunately, the actions of hacker groups undermine the fairness of the game. These judgments send a clear message that we will not tolerate cheating in PUBG Mobile.”
This win follows Activision's similar success against Call of Duty: Warzone cheat makers, a trend welcomed by the gaming community to eliminate hacks at the source.

The ruling serves as a stark warning to cheat developers across gaming. For PUBG Mobile, plagued by piracy issues, it paves the way for a truly fair gaming environment.
