One of the trickier aspects of transitioning into Black Ops Cold War Season 1 from Modern Warfare and Warzone is the leaderboard reset. The goal is straightforward: unify player progression across Cold War, Modern Warfare, and Warzone. But with many players deeply invested in unlocks, questions arise about what carries over post-reset.

Your Season Level resets to 1, but all Create-a-Class unlocks carry over, and your highest Pre-Season Prestige Level stays intact. This applies across Modern Warfare, Warzone, and Black Ops Cold War.
Importantly, unlike some past Call of Duty titles, you won't lose unlocks upon prestiging.
Hit level 200 in a season to earn the Prestige Master title. Your Prestige level icon changes color to reflect this, and you can customize it with legacy icons from previous games.
Keep climbing beyond Prestige Master—up to level 1000 per season, with milestone rewards every 50 levels.

| Prestige Level | Rewards |
|---|---|
| Level 50 | New Prestige, Emblem, Prestige Key, Weapon Blueprint, Battle Pass |
| Level 100 | New Prestige, Emblem, Prestige Key, Battle Pass Level Skip |
| Level 150 | New Prestige, Emblem, Prestige Key, Battle Pass Level Skip |
| Level 200 | New Prestige, Emblem, Prestige Key, Battle Pass Tier Skip, Master Prestige Calling Card, All Season Challenges Unlocked |
