On the first day of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 (PMGC) East league stage, Nigma Galaxy leads the standings with 66 points. Close behind is Chinese powerhouse Nova Esports, just 4 points off the top, while 4Rivals—recently acquired by Yoodo Alliance—holds third with 56 points.
The PMGC 2021 is PUBG Mobile's premier global tournament, where top teams from around the world vie for supremacy and a $6 million prize pool—a significant jump from last year. It features 20 teams split into Eastern and Western divisions competing in league stages.
Day 1 saw strong performances from teams like Stalwart Esports and Six Two Eight (PEL S4 champions).
The league stage kicked off on Erangel, where Chinese teams dominated. Tong Jia Bao Esports claimed the Chicken Dinner via direct invite from the Peacekeeper Elite Championship. Nova Esports took second with 18 points, and Six Two Eight third with 17.

Game 2 on Miramar saw Malaysia's 4Rivals secure the Chicken Dinner with 15 kills. REJECT (Korea) fell to second on the pitch, but D'Xavier earned second on the scoreboard with 14 finishes. STE rounded out the podium with 16 points.
Game 3 returned to Erangel. Rico Infinity Team (PMPL SEA & MENA champions) won Chicken Dinner with 15 kills, ahead of Nigma Galaxy (16 points, second) and Six Two Eight (third).
Game 4 on Miramar featured Nova Esports' dominant Chicken Dinner. Thailand's The Infinity impressed in second with 20 points. Stalwart Esports clinched Game 5 (also Miramar) with 29 points, followed closely by Nigma Galaxy's 23.
PMGC 2021 West Day 1 kicks off today with 20 teams, streaming live on PUBG Mobile Esports at 11:30 PM IST.
