This premier event features a staggering $2 million prize pool, distributed across regional qualifiers and the World Championship Finals. Organized in partnership with Sony, the tournament kicks off on June 3, 2021, and unfolds in five progressive stages—from solo play to team-based global showdowns.
Stage 1 – Solo Play: Competitors battle in ranked solo mode, accumulating 60 points across 10 games over four weekends to advance.
Stage 2 – Team Play: Top solo players form teams for 30 ranked matches, with the top 256 teams qualifying for Stage 3 based on points.
Stage 3 – Regional Qualifications: Hosted on GameBattles in an elimination bracket, the strongest teams move to regional playoffs.
Stage 4 – Regional Playoffs: Elite teams from each region compete in bracket-style playoffs; winners secure spots in the Finals.
Stage 5 – World Championship Finals: Global qualifiers vie for ultimate victory and the lion's share of the prize pool.
