PUBG Mobile's robust anti-cheat system banned 809,566 accounts this week for using unauthorized hacks and cheats. The developers shared the latest ban report on their official social media channels.
As the leading battle royale title on mobile, PUBG Mobile has garnered over a billion downloads on Google Play since its launch, maintaining its top spot in the genre.
Yet, cheaters persist, disrupting fair play with third-party tools that give them an unfair edge. To combat this, the developers implemented a sophisticated anti-cheat system that detects and removes offenders, complemented by an in-game reporting feature for suspicious behavior.
Weekly ban reports detail the accounts removed, including cheat types and player ranks. For the period of May 28 to June 3, the global version saw 809,566 bans—a 3% decrease from the prior week, signaling the system's effectiveness in curbing cheating.
