In March, Nivera departed Vitality following Valve's new rule penalizing teams on major regional ladders for mid-game substitutions. These rankings determine regional representatives for top CS:GO majors.

Speaking to Dexerto, Nivera emphasized this move as a proactive career choice. "I could have joined many other CS teams, but I lost my motivation to play," he shared. "I didn't want to continue playing CS professionally."
