Velocity Gaming Launches VLT x Asteria: Pioneering India's Women's Valorant Esports Scene

Velocity Gaming marks a milestone as the first major Indian organization to back a full female Valorant team. VLT x Asteria is now official, joining forces with one of India's top male Valorant squads and the nation's leading women's team.

VLT x Asteria is Now Official

Established in 2017 and registered as an Indian esports organization in 2019 by Manoj “SENTINEL” Kasyap, Velocity Gaming has built India's most successful Valorant roster.

Velocity Play announced on their official handle: "The long-awaited one. The one you were never ready for. A team of pure tenacity and class, with one goal – TO BE THE BEST. We present to you VLT x Asteria."

Team Asteria has dominated South Asian Valorant esports, qualifying for VCT Game Changers SEA Elite via the FSL Open Wildcard victory. Backed by Velocity Gaming, they're poised for the pinnacle of women's international Valorant competition.

Asteria sealed their prowess in the Wildcard Open VCT Game Changers SEA–FSL Playoffs, defeating Lightality Estelle 3-1 in the Lower Bracket Finals. The roster includes:
