Fortnite v19.10 Update: Tilted Towers Returns as Snow Melts, Klombo Monster Joins the Fray

Fortnite's latest major update revives a fan-favorite landmark while introducing a charming new creature. As longtime players anticipated, the snow blanketing the battle royale island has thawed, unveiling Tilted Towers—the iconic urban hotspot from Fortnite's original map.

The update also debuts Klombo, a massive, endearing monster reminiscent of How to Train Your Dragon. Epic Games describes these gentle giants as a fresh mobility option on the map.

"Mount their tail to reach the vent on their head, then launch yourself a great distance upwards to escape a sticky situation," Epic notes in their official blog. Players can lure Klombos using vibrant berries scattered across the island.

Combined with Chapter 3 features like sliding mechanics, Spider-Man-style swinging, and dynamic weather events such as tornadoes and thunderstorms, this chapter delivers Fortnite's most chaotic battles yet.

Epic also revealed a collaboration with renowned street artist Kaws—who previously contributed a skin—and London's Serpentine gallery. They're launching a virtual "New Fiction" exhibition in Fortnite Creative, mirroring its real-world counterpart.

Crafted by BeyondCreative and Alliance Studios, the experience launches January 18 at 10 a.m. ET and runs through January 25. Access it via island code 9441-7852-6686.

This isn't Fortnite's first foray into digital art; in 2020, the Manchester International Festival hosted interactive exhibits by artists like LaTurbo Avedon in "Your Progress Will Be Saved."
