Developers of the iconic battle royale PUBG have unveiled Update 14.1, introducing the innovative Pickup and Carry feature alongside key map improvements and festive Halloween content. This update keeps the game fresh for millions of players worldwide.
PUBG PC remains a staple for battle royale fans. The team continuously delivers major updates across PC and console to sustain its vibrant community. Following strong feedback on prior patches, Update 14.1 launches October 6, 2021, for PC and October 14, 2021, for consoles.
The standout addition in Update 14.1 is Pickup and Carry, available on all maps. Revive downed teammates or foes (not currently reviving or being revived) by hoisting them over your shoulder. This halves their bleed-out rate and lets them spot enemies regardless of orientation. Note: Carrying limits you—no sprinting, jumping, crouching, proning, or vaulting; hip-fire only.

Analysis of match data revealed high-win-rate zones on Taego. Developers added mountain cover and refined northern Buk San Sa terrain. Exclusive to Taego, Error Space drops appear randomly on the minimap, offering map-specific weapons and supplies until match end.
Random breakable jars spawn across maps, hiding consumables and throwables. Smash them with weapons—but stay vigilant for nearby foes.
The notorious Pochinki hot drop gets terrain tweaks for better escapes post-fight. Church area expanded, rooftop access blocked, and a keyless secret basement room added for loot spawns.
Timing perfectly with Halloween, enjoy mummy coffins at schools, hospitals, and spawn island, plus Spooky Times decor. Care packages now feature Halloween smoke colors.
