Esports is earning the global recognition it has long deserved. PUBG Mobile will compete as an official title at the 19th Asian Games, joining a stellar lineup of games in this historic debut.
The Olympic Council of Asia has announced the esports titles for the 19th Asian Games, known as Asiad—a premier continental multi-sport event held every four years for athletes across Asia. Regulated by the Asian Games Federation until 1978 and since by the Olympic Council of Asia, the Games are recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the second-largest multi-sport event after the Olympics.

This milestone validates esports and gaming on an international stage. The event runs from September 10 to September 25, 2022.
