Esports is earning the global recognition it has long deserved. PUBG Mobile will compete as an official title at the 19th Asian Games, joining a stellar lineup of games in this historic debut.

PUBG Mobile as an Official Esports Title at the Asian Games

The Olympic Council of Asia has announced the esports titles for the 19th Asian Games, known as Asiad—a premier continental multi-sport event held every four years for athletes across Asia. Regulated by the Asian Games Federation until 1978 and since by the Olympic Council of Asia, the Games are recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the second-largest multi-sport event after the Olympics.

PUBG Mobile Headlines Esports Debut at 19th Asian Games Alongside Top Titles

This milestone validates esports and gaming on an international stage. The event runs from September 10 to September 25, 2022.

Eight official esports events and two demo events are confirmed. The official lineup includes:
